Fillerina, affiliated with Labo since 2007 (their registered trademark anniversary), counts itself as being pioneers in at-home filling and plumping treatments: designed as a cosmetic filling treatment that can be self-applied in the comfort of your own home.
Its name deriving from act of filling certain skin depressions (namely sagging and wrinkles). The primary active ingredients of our product allowing us to do so; these being special Hyaluronic Acids, composed in various forms to cater for different filling degrees of the middle and deep skin tissues.
Much like the Hyaluronic Acid filling treatments that are commonly used in aesthetic medicines, Fillerina’s methods are based on releasing large amounts of Hyaluronic Acid to deeply penetrate the cutaneous tissues (ex vivo tests). Making contact with water, the Hyaluronic Acid enables the filling of the skin tissues, resulting in enhanced volume, tautness and fullness of the skin. With the ageing of skin comes the gradual decrease of Hyaluronic Acid in cells, and particularly in the skin and with this comes a loss of volume, sinking and cutaneous saggings. Such deficiencies take on most notable effect in the eye contour area, leading to the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes and perhaps most notably on the outer corner (the aptly-named crow’s feet), with upper eyelids undergoing a loss of tone and density, and the increase of swelling under the eye.
